Structured Review

Macklin Inc cadmium chloride cdcl2
(A) Eighteen Hu sheep were randomly divided into three groups: the control group (CON) receiving sterile saline, the cadmium-exposed group (Cd) administered 20 mg/kg CdCl₂ daily via oral gavage, and the therapeutic intervention group (CA) treated with combined 20 mg/kg CdCl₂ and 5 mg/kg sodium octanoate. All animals were euthanized for tissue collection on day 22 post-modeling ( n = 6). (B) Body weight change trends in Hu sheep of CON, Cd and CA groups. (C) The morphological characteristics of H&E staining of the ileum tissues in the three experimental groups, as well as the quantitative statistics of villus length. The inflammatory infiltration areas in the Cd group are indicated by red arrows. (D) The PAS staining of the ileum tissues of the three groups of Hu sheep and the quantitative statistics of the number of goblet cells in the crypts. (E) MUC2 immunohistochemical staining demonstrated goblet cell distribution and secretory status in ileal tissues across experimental groups. Quantitative statistics of the expression levels of the number of positive cells. (F) The cadmium-exposed group (Cd) exhibited marked elevation in IL-1 β , IL-6, and TNF- α levels, indicative of systemic inflammatory escalation. Sodium octanoate intervention (CA group) significantly attenuated these pro-inflammatory factors expression level (* p < 0.05, ** p < 0.01, *** p < 0.001).

Article Title: All-inorganic Mn 2+ -doped metal halide perovskite crystals for the late-time detection of X-ray afterglow imaging.
Article Snippet: All-inorganic metal halide perovskite (MHP) materials have been widely studied because of their unique optoelectronic properties, whereas there has been little research reported on their X-ray afterglow imaging properties.. Herein, we report the design and synthesis of Mn-doped hexagonal CsCdCl3 MHP crystals with excellent X-ray scintillation and X-ray induced afterglow.. The orange emission from Mn shows a red shift due to the strong interaction of the Mn–Mn dimers formed at higher doping concentrations.

Article Title: Cadmium aggravates liver injury by activating ferroptosis and neutrophil extracellular traps formation in Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus).
Article Snippet: Funding information Basic and Applied Basic Research Foundation of Guangdong Province, Grant/Award Number: 2022A1515110150; National Natural Science Foundation of China, Grant/Award Numbers: 31772721, 32102702 Abstract Cadmium (Cd) is a pervasive environmental contaminant and a significant risk factor for liver injury.. The present study was undertaken to evaluate the involvement of ferroptosis and neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) in Cd-induced liver injury in Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus), and to explore its underlying mechanism.. Cd-induced liver injury was associated with increased total iron, malondialdehyde (MDA), and Acyl-CoA synthetase long-chain family member 4 (ACSL4), together with reduced levels of glutathione, glutathione peroxidase-4a (Gpx4a), and solute carrier family 7 member 11 (SLC7A11), which are all hallmarks of ferroptosis.

Article Title: Performance and Mechanism of L-arginine Modifed Alginate Aerogels for Adsorption of Cadmium and Copper Ions
Article Snippet: alginate-based aerogels are promising adsorbents owing to their high specific surface area, high porosity, controllable size and shape [9].. Sodium alginate (SA), a water-soluble anionic natural polysaccharide extracted from algae, has abundant of carboxyl and hydroxyl groups [10].. It is composed of a variable arrangement of 1, 4 linked β-D-mannuronic acid (M) and C-5 epimer α-L-guluronic acid (G) [11, 12].
